Register opens 15 December 2026

Every landlord certificate, dated and ready.

Certlog keeps your gas safety record, EICR and EPC in one place and reminds you before each one runs out.

Built for landlords in England getting ready for the rental property register. Certlog is independent and is not run by GOV.UK.

A picture of the Certlog dashboard with example data: two properties, their gas safety, EICR and EPC certificates, and a status for each.

Features

Everything the register asks for, kept in one place.

Landlords must supply a gas safety certificate, an EICR and an EPC. Certlog holds them, watches the dates, and tells you what needs doing.

Reads the dates for you

Upload a certificate and Certlog suggests the issue date, expiry date and reference. You check each one before it is saved, so you stay in charge.

Reminds you in time

Emails arrive 60, 30, 14 and 7 days before each expiry, on the day, and a week after. One tidy email per landlord, with a one-click unsubscribe.

One bundle per property

Download every certificate for a property in a single folder, with a summary sheet, ready for when you register.

Renewals handled

Add the new certificate and the old one steps aside: it stops counting as overdue and stops sending emails.

Certlog helps you organise your own documents. It does not give legal advice and does not register properties for you.

Rollout dates

When does your region open?

The register opens one region a month, and landlords get three months from the day it opens in their region. Pick yours.
